We design new power lines in Angola

Recently, Eltel Networks, with many years of experience in the design of power lines in Angola, was commissioned to carry out design work related to the planned construction of new, single-circuit 220 kV overhead lines in Angola between the provinces of Lunda Norte, Lunda Sul and Moxico. These lines, with a total length of approximately 500 km, will be part of a broader program aimed at ensuring the transmission of electricity to the eastern region of Angola.

The order includes the development of preliminary design assumptions, analysis of the proposed route of high-voltage power lines along with possible proposals for changes, and the development of line profiles in the PLS-CADD program, including the preliminary selection of pole types, their elevations and locations. Based on the materials developed by #EltelNetworksTeam, the ordering party will be able to analyse the impact of the construction of power lines on the environment and society.
